Job summary

A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Mechanical Piping Engineer to join their team in Thornton-Cleveleys. This role involves developing and reviewing mechanical drawings, providing support during construction, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on various projects within the process industries. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience in relevant sectors such as chemical and oil & gas. Strong communication skills and Autodesk software proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in sectors such as chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, or food & beverage.
• Chartered Engineer status is desirable but not essential.
• Previous experience in a mechanical piping design engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review mechanical and piping drawings to relevant industry standards.
• Provide engineering support during construction and commissioning phases.
