Gold Group is seeking a Lead Technical Operative - Mechanical Bias in Greater Manchester. The role requires hands-on leadership of the site engineering team, ensuring optimal performance of building services and adherence to maintenance schedules.

The candidate will oversee CAFM-driven tasks, coordinate reactive works, and uphold safety standards. Key requirements include BPSS, City & Guilds NVQ Level 2+ in Mechanical Engineering, and 5–10 years FM experience.

Qualifications

• BPSS clearance required.
• Experience leading engineering teams in FM environments.
• Strong fault-finding on complex mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site engineering team and act as engineering champion on site.
• Ensure PPMS and CAFM-driven maintenance, both planned and reactive.
• Troubleshoot and remedy faults to keep plant in service.
