Job summary

Adecco is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical) to coordinate and supervise maintenance activities within a designated plant area, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of all internal and contractor maintenance work.

This role links maintenance with production, driving safety, reliability and compliance in a regulated manufacturing environment. CMMS experience and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• HNC in Mechanical Engineering or a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship.
• Experience with mechanical machinery in manufacturing.
• Proven maintenance supervisory or team-leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all mechanical maintenance within your plant area.
• Ensure activities comply with HSE legislation, policies and procedures.
• Act as the main liaison between maintenance and production for planned and reactive work.
• Provide technical guidance and monitor contractor and internal team performance.
