Job summary

Our client, a multinational energy company, is seeking a senior mechanical maintenance engineer to join the team at Enfield with another position in Grain. You will mentor and guide engineers, delivering a safe, quality preventative and corrective maintenance service to the plant.

The role involves leading maintenance planning, managing budgets, and driving improvements to maintenance processes. A strong background in power station operations and IOSH-level safety knowledge is essential, with

Qualifications

• HNC or NVQ3 level qualification in an engineering discipline required.
• Broad understanding of Power Station operations.
• Strong fault finding and problem solving abilities.
• Health and safety knowledge to IOSH or equivalent.
• Planning, prioritising and long-term strategic focus needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver preventative and corrective mechanical maintenance to the plant, compliant with work controls.
• Lead and mentor team members, including junior engineers and contractors.
• Manage and contribute to maintenance budgets for the area of responsibility.
• Drive continuous improvement of maintenance management systems (FRACAS).
• Support safety performance and conduct regular audits of work control processes.
