CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd invites applications for a Mechanical Lead Engineer role in a prestigious City of London building. You will lead a small team of engineers while remaining hands-on with maintenance duties, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of planned and reactive work.

You will liaise with clients and occupiers, manage subcontractors, review RAMS, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery within a facilities management contract.

Qualifications

• This role requires proven leadership in a facilities/FM environment.
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of building services and M&E maintenance.
• Experience supervising a small team and coordinating subcontractors.
• Familiarity with CAFM systems and maintenance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of engineers and provide hands-on maintenance oversight.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance across landlord and tenant areas.
• supervise subcontractors and review RAMS before works commence.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and statutory requirements.
• Monitor KPIs and maintain accurate maintenance records in CAFM.
• Support quotations and technical recommendations for the account.
