Job summary

Penspen is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer experienced with static and rotating equipment for onshore/offshore projects. The role is based in Woking, Surrey, with potential site work in Al Khafji, KSA.

The candidate will work within Core Engineering or PMT teams, reporting through the Lead Mechanical Engineer or Project Head as appropriate. The role requires FEED experience, deep knowledge of pressure vessels and heat exchangers, and the ability to review designs, prepare datasheets, and

Qualifications

• FEED engineering activities experience.
• Engineering experience with pressure vessels, shell/tube heat exchangers, and tanks.
• Perform/review equipment mechanics design and calculations.
• Review equipment layout 2D/3D models.
• Prepare/review equipment datasheets and material requisitions.
• Prepare/review Technical Bid Evaluations for equipment.
• Saudi Aramco Standards SAES and international API codes.
• Design software experience for static equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage output of engineer-grade personnel working under his/her authority.
• Liaise with other discipline personnel in the Technical Core Team or PMT teams.
• Report to Lead Mechanical Engineer or Project Head as appropriate.
