  • Supervising, developing, and mentoring others.

Within our Net Zero Engineering Business, the mechanical team has a focus on diversifying the energy mix in the United Kingdom and elsewhere. This includes power generation (from gas, biomass, hydro and nuclear), natural gas cavern storage, hydrogen (production & cavern storage), and industrial decarbonisation.

Does this sound like you? In which case, we’d love you to apply for this role.

What you can bring?

  • Master’s degree (MEng/MSc) qualified Mechanical Engineer.
  • Chartered Engineer and a member of IMechE is desirable.
  • Strong technical background.
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry (e.g., power, chemical, oil & gas) is desirable.

Some examples of the experience that would be of benefit are:

  • Pipe stress analysis.
  • Equipment specification and engineering specification writing.
  • Experience of attendance at site for surveys and operations.
  • High temperature component life assessment.
  • Fitness for service assessments.
  • Pressure part design calculations.
