Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Net Zero Energy Business. This position can be based in Glasgow, Bristol, or Stockton, with a flexible mix of home-working and office/site collaboration. We also welcome part-time applicants.

Your Purpose:

We seek a versatile engineer who enjoys working on a variety of projects, from small assignments to large multidisciplinary teams. You will work closely with clients on challenging issues and mentor junior colleagues.

You will build relationships with clients and colleagues, aiming to have a positive impact through your work and support for others.

Examples of your work:

  • Leading technical aspects of mechanical engineering projects across different design phases.
  • Mentoring and developing team members.

Our focus areas include diversifying the UK's energy mix: power generation (gas, biomass, hydro, nuclear), hydrogen storage and production, and decarbonisation efforts.

What you can bring:

  • Master’s degree (MEng/MSc) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer status and IMechE membership are desirable.
  • Strong technical background and experience in regulated industries (power, chemical, oil & gas).
