Senior Mechanical Engineer - Mechanical Handling, Warrington

Westlakes Recruit is currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience in Mechanical Handling, preferably within the nuclear or other highly regulated sectors. This is a permanent position based in Warrington, Manchester, or Derby, with hybrid working arrangements.

This role involves developing equipment solutions and managing products through their entire lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical equipment design and a proven track record in delivering complex, safety-critical equipment.

The successful candidate will produce engineering solutions and artifacts supported by cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities include demonstrating technical solution validity, delivering robust design and safety justifications supported by detailed mechanical analysis and Design for X assessments, and integrating solutions into the overall design.
