Are you a degree qualified mechanical engineer who is Chartered (or working towards) with experience of working on water sector projects?

Our client has recently opened an office in Peterborough and they are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer Lead with experience of mentoring and coaching junior team members, whilst fostering a collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will be passionate about preserving our natural world, specifically rivers, wetlands, and coastlines. Experienced at checking and reviewing design deliverables, your focus will be to ensure designs are fit for purpose and meet required standards and specifications to successfully deliver projects.

Designs will include mechanical and hydraulic systems, including pumping systems, plant, and building services. You will support the Senior Design Manager and check quality, safety, and technical standards are met, including meeting DSEAR compliance.

Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and welfare of mechanical engineering is vital, and you will input to CDM meetings and prepare PCI information.
