Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design of rotating machinery and support projects from concept through to delivery in Rugby, Warwickshire.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering and hands-on experience with rotating equipment, plus strong design and diagnostics capabilities. This permanent position offers training, progression, private healthcare, and a competitive salary.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of rotating machinery (stators, rotors, assemblies).
• Support projects from concept through to delivery.
• Use simulation tools to validate designs.
• Assist with testing, commissioning and diagnostics.
• Produce technical reports and documentation.
• Work closely with design and manufacturing teams.
• Carry out fault finding and failure analysis.

Hours: Monday – Friday, Days (40 hours per week)
