£50,000 - £60,000

Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking to lead innovative building services projects and shape sustainable environments? Join a well-established consultancy in Kent, where your expertise will make a real impact.

About the Role:

We're seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic Building Services team. You'll lead mechanical design on a variety of projects across residential, commercial, education, and healthcare sectors. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Leading mechanical design from concept through to completion

* Managing client relationships and mentoring junior engineers

* Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, architects, and contractors

* Ensuring compliance with UK regulations and sustainability standards

* Using industry tools (e.g. Hevacomp, Revit MEP, IES) to develop and review detailed designs

What We're Looking For:

* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering

* Minimum 6-8 years' experience within UK building services

* Chartered or working towards chartership (CIBSE/IMechE)

* Strong knowledge of current UK building regulations

* Confident communicator with leadership capability
