Our Scotland Mechanical team is seeking a highly proficient Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team.

What you’ll do
  1. Provide technical expertise in the specification, production, and assessment of design packages for infrastructure.
  2. Assess work control procedures for infrastructure maintenance.
  3. Evaluate infrastructure design, material condition, qualification, and aging mechanisms to ensure continued operation of facilities and utilities.
  4. Maintain a robust safety and security culture.
  5. Ensure safety-related contract outputs meet requirements by acting as an intelligent customer.

Requirements

  • HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Infrastructure design intent in the nuclear or similar high-hazard industry.
  • Experience in mechanical systems such as pumps, cranes, HVAC, pressure systems, or Diesel Generators.
  • Experience in the nuclear industry or high-hazard industries is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to provide practical, creative, and cost-effective design solutions.
Important Details
  • Active UK SC Clearance or the ability to obtain it is required.
  • Work onsite in Glasgow 3 days per week.
