Services include detailed design, TTD, dilapidations, pre-acquisition surveys, technical advisory work, and more. They are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer (Building Services) at various levels. Role

• Understanding project briefs and designing/specifying Mechanical Building Services systems.
• Preparing and reviewing documentation such as designs, specifications, assessment reports, and survey reports.
• Managing the production of detailed calculations using industry-standard software including Excel, CAD, IES, and in-house tools.
• Conducting site surveys, inspections, and monitoring site works.
• Implementing detailed surveys of mechanical services and equipment to assess existing installations and inform new or upgrade designs.
• Managing entire projects from a technical and client perspective.
• Supporting proposals development (depending on level).
• Assisting in the development of junior engineers.
• Writing reports and technical notes.

Qualifications / Experience

• Degree or equivalent in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Chartered or working towards chartership with CIBSE or IET.
• 5-10 years of experience in a design consultancy or similar environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical design within the built environment.
• Strong report writing skills and experience presenting to clients.
• Experience managing projects through various RIBA stages.
• Involvement in bids, tenders, and financial management.
• Thorough knowledge of technical standards and ability to manage project deliverables independently.
• Proficiency with digital tools such as IES, Microsoft Office, and CAD.
