The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Services Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team of over 300 property professionals at Hampshire County Council. This role involves designing and managing the delivery of a wide range of projects across the Council’s diverse property portfolio, including schools, libraries, care homes, museums, and historic buildings.
You will be responsible for leading mechanical design work, supervising site activities, and potentially managing junior engineers. The role requires proficiency in HVAC, gas, and water services design, aligned with British Standards and CIBSE guidance. A relevant degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering Services and a commitment to achieving chartered status are essential.
