Job summary

A leading engineering firm is urgently seeking 2 x Senior Mechanical Engineers based in the Warrington/Preston area. The role offers hybrid working on a long-term contract, with negotiable rates. Candidates should have experience in specifications and datasheets for equipment such as filters and pumps, and be capable of conducting designer risk assessments. The position requires eligibility to work in the UK and the potential to gain Security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on specifications and datasheets.
• Ability to perform designer risk assessments (DRAs).
• Familiarity with plants that involve filters, pumps, and heat exchangers.

Responsibilities

• Develop specifications and datasheets for mechanical systems.
• Conduct designer risk assessments for cranes, lifts, and hoists.
• Collaborate on assembling plant equipment like heat exchangers.

We have an urgent demand for 2 x Senior Mechanical Engineers based at Warrington/Preston area, the role is a long–term contract Inside of IR35, the position will be offering hybrid working and is offering negotiable rates.

The client is looking for Mechanical Engineers with experience in either or both of the below categories.

Specifications and Datasheets

• Filters
• Pumps
• Gloveboxes and Sampling Cabinets
• Lifts
• Cranes & Hoists

Designer Risk Assessments

• PE(s)R/PED
• Lifts, Cranes & Hoists
• PUWER/Work Environments

This lends itself to:

Experience in lifts, cranes, hoists – specifications, datasheets & DRAs

• This person would probably also have experience in PUWER/Work Environments DRAs

Experience in plant assembly equipment – heat exchangers, filters, pumps and PE(s)R/PED
