This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, client-focused mechanical building services expert to join our Newcastle office. You will play a key role in delivering innovative mechanical design solutions for some of the most exciting building projects in the UK and worldwide.
You will work predominantly with major corporate clients across the UK and EMEA regions, delivering cutting-edge workplaces that enable employees to perform at their best and make a difference. You will be responsible for delivering projects while managing Cundall's specialist engineers. Collaboration with colleagues across disciplines and external partners will be essential to ensure technically excellent and profitable project delivery.
You will develop and nurture client relationships to maximize satisfaction and repeat business. Your expertise and leadership skills will be vital in managing, motivating, and inspiring less experienced engineers.
Applicants should be educated to degree level in Building Services Engineering, with substantial experience in a Mechanical Engineering role within a building services context, including ventilation, cooling, air conditioning, heating systems, and public health system design. An extensive portfolio demonstrating high-quality engineering solutions and a client-focused approach is essential.
Experience working in healthcare environments and knowledge of relevant technical guidance documents would be advantageous.
You should have a proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and lead less experienced engineers to meet and exceed client expectations. Sound knowledge of Revit and a track record of creative, sustainable, and intuitive design are required.
Excellent communication and project management skills are crucial due to the collaborative and client-focused nature of this role.
