Job summary

IC Resources partners with an innovative hardware company to recruit a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. You will own the mechanical design across the full product lifecycle, from concept and prototyping through testing and production, collaborating closely with electronics and software teams.

You will lead 3D CAD development in SolidWorks, create manufacturing drawings, and drive design for manufacturability and reliability while coordinating with suppliers and manufacturing partners to scale

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical product design and development.
• Advanced SolidWorks skills with experience producing manufacturing documentation.
• Proven track record of taking products from concept through to manufacture.
• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and experience integrating electronics into mechanical assemblies.
• Experience working with suppliers, manufacturing partners and production environments.
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
