As MWH Treatment's service to its client, Thames Water, continues to flourish into AMP8, we are looking to strengthen our Engineering team with a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Based in the Thames Water region (Maple Lodge office), you will report directly to the Regional Discipline Lead (Mechanical).
Our challenging programme of work, across a variety of water and wastewater schemes is expected to be in the region of GBP400M. Ability to rationalise designs and produce economic plant layouts. Good general knowledge of all aspects of water treatment, e.g. mechanical engineering, process engineering, electrical engineering and project management. Working knowledge of roles and responsibility under CDM 2015 Regulations. Working knowledge of industry standards (BS, WIMES, BSRIA, etc.), HSE regulatory requirements (PUWER, LOLER, PSSR 2000, DSEAR, etc.), The Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations 2016 (Reg31), Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI), etc. A flexible mind, with the ability to assimilate large amounts of different data at one time. Ability to present technical proposals clearly, confidently and convincingly. Computer literacy. Driving license.
