This is an opportunity to work at the interface of engineering and biology. When you join us, you'll:

• Make our devices more indestructible by iterating and improving robustness and reliability.
• Lead development of systems interfacing with areas like optics and fluidics.
• Work on all aspects of hardware design, from concept to manufacture.
• Refine and build existing proof-of-concept features and collaborate on new integrations.
• Improve test rigs, quality processes, and data to enhance our sprint velocity.
• Help shape our engineering culture and processes for continual improvement, enjoying autonomy, accountability, and a customer-focused approach.

We'd love to hear from you if:

• You have brought at least one complex product to market, ideally in lab automation, medical devices, or biotech, but we're open to other areas.
• You understand building reliability into hardware R&D processes.
• Complex systems with hardware, electronics, and software fascinate you, especially high-precision electro-mechanical devices.
• The open-source hardware movement interests you, and you enjoy non-traditional prototyping approaches, possibly coding to integrate systems.
• Manufacturing techniques like injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, and CNC machining are part of your skill set.
