Are you a dynamic and ambitious Senior Mechanical Engineer looking to lead and shape the future of a growing consultancy? My client is a small but rapidly expanding building services consultancy based in London, with a primary focus on the residential sector and exciting plans to branch into new markets. Join a team of six talented MEP engineers and be a driving force in their journey to grow and diversify the business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and sustainable solutions.
2. Collaborate with a team of engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
3. Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
4. Play a key role in business development activities, helping to identify and pursue new opportunities and sectors.
5. Provide technical expertise and leadership in design, specification, and implementation of mechanical systems.
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
7. Participate in weekly on-site meetings, with flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it is highly desirable.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the residential sector.
4. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and delivering successful projects.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ambition and vision to lead and grow a business in the future.
7. Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HVAC design software).
