Job description

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will provide technical support to projects and work closely with engineers of other disciplines and project managers. You will report to the Head of MEICA and assist with the design and delivery of multidisciplinary engineering and environmental improvement projects. We deliver projects for various clients across the UK.

We seek an enthusiastic Mechanical Engineer with a strong interest in delivering projects that benefit society. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include producing mechanical engineering documents such as P&I diagrams, mechanical schedules, pump system calculations, equipment datasheets, and sub-contractor works specifications. You will represent the MEICA team in internal and external client meetings. Candidates should have solid postgraduate experience (BEng or MEng or equivalent) and be working towards professional membership (IEng or CEng). A full UK driving license is beneficial.

  • Relevant UK experience in the industry
  • Proven experience in delivering water and regulated water projects
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and highly organized
