Senior Mechanical Engineer
Wigan
Salary 45,000 to 55,000

A long–established and well–respected Building Services consultancy based in Wigan is looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its growing team. With a strong pipeline of secured work, this is an excellent opportunity to step into a role where you'll lead a variety of projects from concept to completion.

You'll take the lead on mechanical design projects across a diverse portfolio, including city centre hotels, residential developments, industrial facilities, and more. This is a hands–on technical role that also requires strong leadership, project ownership, and team collaboration.

You'll work closely with a Lead Engineer as well as an intermediate and a Graduate. The company also offers on–site services, so you'll often see your work realised all the way through to delivery.

What You'll Bring:

• Significant experience in mechanical building services design, ideally within a consultancy environment
• Ability to run your own projects and manage design delivery across all RIBA stages
• Confidence mentoring junior team members and contributing to their development
• Strong technical background and familiarity with relevant software/tools
