Job summary

QCS Staffing Ltd. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our client’s team in London, focusing on advanced cooling and infrastructure solutions for data centres. You will design, document and deploy mechanical systems from concept through commissioning, ensuring performance and reliability.

You will lead testing, validation and optimization activities, guiding engineers and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in mechanical engineering design, ideally within data centres or similar environments.
• Strong understanding of thermal management, fluid systems, heat transfer and cooling technologies.
• Experience using 3D CAD software and managing testing, commissioning and performance optimisation activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of cooling and infrastructure solutions for mission-critical environments.
• Produce detailed engineering designs, drawings and technical documentation from concept to deployment and commissioning.
• Manage testing, validation and performance analysis activities to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams and collaborate with stakeholders on project delivery.

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our client’s team and support their current project in London.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design and development of advanced cooling and infrastructure solutions for mission-critical environments, ensuring performance, reliability and scalability.
• Produce detailed engineering designs, drawings and technical documentation from concept through to deployment and commissioning.
• Manage testing, validation and performance analysis activities, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability and operational performance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on project delivery.

What you’ll need:
