Our client is a multidisciplinary consultancy providing mechanical and electrical engineering services to a wide range of clients within the healthcare sector. They are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with building services experience to join their team based in Croydon.

The role will involve:

• Acting as project leader on selected projects
• Working as part of a larger team on certain projects
• Attending principal meetings and making client presentations
• Promoting technical excellence within the team
• Developing as a key contact for clients over time
• Supporting business growth through excellent customer care
• Working on diverse projects across various sectors
• Collaborating closely with team members
• Producing drawings, specifications, and calculations
• Managing junior team members' mechanical engineering tasks

Candidate requirements:

• A degree in mechanical or building services engineering (Chartered or working towards). Alternatively, an HNC or HND with relevant design experience.
• Significant post-qualification experience in building services design
• Proficiency with software such as Microsoft Office, Hevacomp, IES, TAS, or Cymap
• Knowledge of British standards and building regulations
• Knowledge of HTMs (beneficial)
• Professional memberships (CIBSE, IET, IMechE)
