JOB- Senior Mechanical Engineer (Building Services)

LOCATION- Colchester

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £50,000 to £65,000 per annum (plus benefits)

Premier Engineering is currently working with a well-established Building Services consultancy who are looking to expand their team with a Senior Mechanical Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-profile projects across a variety of sectors including commercial, healthcare, residential, and education.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a building services consultancy environment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical building services design including HVAC, ventilation, and heating systems
  • Proficient in Revit, with a good understanding of BIM workflows
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as CIBSE, BSRIA, and building regulations
  • Chartered status or working towards chartership (CEng) is advantageous
