Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Oxford team. You will design mechanical systems, supervise on-site installations and oversee contract administration, while mentoring junior team members.

Collaborate across offices, apply Revit and modelling software, and help deliver energy‑efficient, sustainable building services across sectors including heritage, education and healthcare.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Oxford team. As part of our collaborative and dynamic group, you will work closely with colleagues across multiple offices and under the guidance of senior leadership. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with expertise in electrical design and a passion for creating energy-efficient and sustainable solutions.

What Will You Do?

• Designing mechanical systems and preparing specifications

What We Are Looking For:

• A degree in a relevant subject
• Relevant experience in building services design
• Experience mentoring junior team members
• Project experience across multiple industry sectors
• Proficiency with Revit
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Competency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with design and modelling software (full training will be provided)
