The Role and Responsibilities
EnerMech currently has an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Engineering team based in Aberdeen. You will join a busy and growing team working on projects supporting our Cranes & Lifting Engineering team.
In your role, you will work as part of a team of engineers to provide delivery of mechanical work scopes, working on designs to solve clients’ needs in a collaborative team environment. Specific tasks will include supporting work scope methodologies, providing drawings and calculations. The role will also involve mentoring and directing junior technical engineers.
The Requirements
Candidates should be degree or HND qualified in mechanical engineering or similar and/or a chartered member with a relevant institution such as IMechE/IMarE/IET. Experience in a mechanical engineering role in the infrastructure, pharma, or energy sectors is essential.
Candidates should also have experience of executing engineering calculations (MathCad, Matlab, 3D modelling and simulation software).
