Calibre Search is seeking a Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer in Exeter, with hybrid working (2 days from home). Salary offers 45,000–60,000 plus benefits.

Join a close-knit team delivering technically strong, buildable designs across healthcare, MOD, education, commercial and residential sectors. You'll lead mechanical design on building services projects, engage with clients and stakeholders, mentor junior engineers, and help grow client relationships while working on a varied project

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical building services design.
• Comfortable in a client-facing role.
• Ability to lead projects and support junior team members.
• Strong technical capability across a range of project types.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with clients and project stakeholders.
• Produce detailed, technically sound, and buildable designs.
