Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Water)
We are currently recruiting multiple Senior Mechanical Design Engineers (Water) for major frameworks across the UK, including a £100 million framework supporting river health improvements in Northwest England.
RPS has over 20 years of collaboration with United Utilities, working on innovative projects. As we approach AMP8, this is an exciting time to work in the water industry, creating positive change.
Under this 10-year framework, RPS will optimize programs, develop solutions, and select best-value options focusing on low carbon and cost efficiency. Our goal is to deliver exceptional water services that foster resilience and eco-friendliness in the Northwest.
RPS Water Consulting comprises Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts supporting Asset Management and Operational Strategy for water industry clients. We work on long-term programs leading into AMP9 and beyond, offering career stability and legacy opportunities.
You should be experienced in producing technical specifications, designing pumping and aeration systems, and familiar with collaborative planning and solution design. Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver technical presentations are essential. Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and infrastructure assessment is required.
