Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Water)

We are recruiting multiple Senior Mechanical Design Engineers (Water) for long-term frameworks across the UK, including a £100 million framework with United Utilities to improve river health in Northwest England.

Join RPS Water Consulting, a team providing Asset Management and Operational Strategy to water industry clients. This role involves developing solutions, designing pumping and aeration systems, and collaborating on technical reviews and safety assessments.

Responsibilities include working on projects with water companies, supporting project delivery, mentoring juniors, interpreting technical drawings, conducting asset surveys, producing P&IDs, and preparing mechanical design documents.

Qualifications include an IMechE accredited degree, chartership or working towards it, and professional memberships like IET, InstMC, or CIWEM.
