The first American Formula 1 team to compete in the sport since 1986, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team made an immediate impression with a memorable points-scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. This position reports to the Design Team Leader or their designee; it is located in Maranello, Italy. The role involves designing F1 chassis-related components and mechanical assemblies.
GCSE, High School diploma, or equivalent required. Further education, including a Mechanical Engineering degree, is preferred. Minimum of 6 years of work experience, with at least 3 years in a professional motorsports environment or F1 companies.
Must be able to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment. Occasional domestic and international travel may be required. Flexibility to work long hours, including weekends, is expected.
Position may involve lifting up to 50 pounds, repetitive bending, squatting, manual dexterity, and working around machinery, race cars, rigs, debris, and hazardous fluids. All employees must comply with health and safety policies and legislation.
