Job summary

Alpine F1 Team in Enstone is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer specialised in Electrical Systems Integration to join our Electronics group within the Engineering Office. The role focuses on 3D mechanical design and the seamless integration of electrical components on and off the car, in line with F1 technical regulations.

You will design composites and metallic parts, route wiring harnesses, and produce drawings and documentation to ensure installations meet design intent.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Solid foundation in engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with CAD tools and design standards.

Responsibilities

• 3D mechanical design and integration of electrical components on/off the car in accordance with F1 regulations.
• Design and routing of complex wiring harnesses; produce mechanical drawings and documentation.
• Support future car programmes and adoption of development technologies.
