Qualifikationen

• Degree qualification (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of engineering first principles.
• Proven experience in mechanical design and product integration.
• Advanced CAD skills, ideally using CATIA V5 or 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Experience designing metallic and composite components.
• Ability to manage complex packaging and integration challenges.
• Creative and analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Confidence working both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with electrical systems or harness design would be advantageous.

Aufgaben

• 3D design and integration of electrical systems across the entire vehicle.
• Design of metallic and composite components that support and protect critical electrical hardware.
• Development and routing of complex wiring harnesses through highly packaged environments.
• Creation of innovative installation concepts that optimise weight, stiffness, accessibility and performance.
• Production of detailed engineering drawings and documentation to support manufacture and assembly.
• Collaboration with Electronics, Vehicle Design, Aerodynamics and Production departments to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Supporting future car programmes and development of new technologies, materials and engineering approaches.
