Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a relevant field with valves or hydraulic systems preferred.
• Mechanical design experience using 3D software.
• Experience with fluid control systems such as valves, manifolds, actuators or hydraulics.
• Ability to create calculations and validate designs.
• Experience supporting shop floor assembly and field service teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop flow control products for Defence applications, considering pressure and environmental factors.
• Perform analyses, test plans, qualification plans for performance, reliability and safety.
• Review external analysis and validation data (FEA, CFD, tests).
• Ensure compliance with industry and government standards and internal processes.
• Oversee end-to-end engineering from bid to manufacture and test.
• Create prototypes and perform environmental validation.
