Contract Opportunity: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Hybrid / Remote (Northwest, Midlands, South East)

6–12 months

We are working with a leading consultancy who, due to a significant pipeline of secured work, are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.

What You will Be Doing:

• Delivering detailed mechanical building services designs across a range of sectors including Residential, Student Accommodation, Data Centres, and Commercial developments.
• Working on projects from early concept (RIBA Stage 1) through to delivery (Stage 5).
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project delivery is on time and to specification.
• Attending occasional site or office visits (approx. once a week).
• Using Revit to produce and coordinate designs – experience essential.

What You will Need:

• Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer within the building services sector.
• Strong technical knowledge across mechanical services design.
• Ability to manage your own workload and deliver to tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Revit and other industry–standard software.
