Job summary

A leading engineering solutions provider in Shropshire is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. The role involves using CAD for concept designs, updating 3D models, and working in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3-4 years of relevant experience. Strong skills in 3D CAD software and excellent communication abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3-4 years' experience in a similar Design Engineering/CAD Operation position.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of various materials such as sheet metal and injection moulded plastics.

Responsibilities

• Use CAD for concept design and produce technical drawings.
• Liaise with manufacturing providers.
• Update 3D models and drawings.
