I am currently hiring for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for a key client of mine based in Royal Leamington Spa.

My client is a well–established UK–based product development company, renowned for delivering innovative design and engineering solutions to clients across sectors such as automotive, healthcare, consumer products, and industrial equipment.

Due to continued growth and upcoming major projects, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative mechanical design solutions for new products and systems.
• Manage technical aspects of projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessment.
• Provide hands–on engineering support including CAD design, prototyping, and testing.
• Collaborate with cross–functional teams including industrial design, electronics, and manufacturing.
• Liaise with clients, presenting ideas, updates, and technical insights.

Essential Skills / Qualifications

• Degree (1st or 2:1) in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or Industrial Design or related discipline from a top university.
• Proven experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including injection moulding, CNC, and both low–volume rapid prototyping methods.
