Ideal candidates will have a recognized engineering background and significant design experience in precision engineering sectors including aviation.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of design experience.
• Experience in low-volume, high-precision environments.
• Background in fixed-wing, commercial airlines, or UAV preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on clean sheet design concepts of aero-mechanical components.
• Create CAD models and PDMs.

Job Description:

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join an innovative and growing business.

Role:

• Working on clean sheet design concepts of aero-mechanical components.
• Creating CAD models and PDMs.
• Working with and mentoring the design team to ensure the viability and success of the designs
• Working closely with the project, test and validation and production teams

Experience:

• You must have a recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of design experience.
• Experience working in low-volume, high-precision design environments
• Ideally, a background in fixed-wing, commercial airlines, or UAV.
• An enquiring mind and openness to new technology and ideas are essential for this role.

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week in the office.
