Job summary

Principal / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Could you be trusted to give the final technical approval on a complex mechanical design?

We’re recruiting a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to act as a technical authority and design-sign-off engineer within an experienced mechanical engineering team.

You’ll review and approve engineering work, challenge weak assumptions and take responsibility for deciding whether designs are safe, properly substantiated and ready for release.

This isn’t primarily a CAD position. It requires strong mechanical fundamentals, credible calculation skills and the confidence to make and defend important design decisions.

The role

• Act as a technical authority for mechanical design.

About you

You’ll have substantial experience designing complex mechanical products, machinery or equipment.
