An established engineering company in Peterborough is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following:

: Degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or related field

: Minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical design, ideally within machinery, special purpose equipment, or industrial systems

: Proficient in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks

: Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes

: Experience producing technical drawings, BOMs, and documentation

: Ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members

: Excellent communication and problem:solving skills

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Role Will Involve

: Leading mechanical design projects from concept through to production
