Job summary

CIBSE Journal in Greater Manchester is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to take ownership of bespoke projects from concept through to manufacture, installation and commissioning. Qualifications

• Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Project management experience for engineering or installation projects.
• Background in mechanical engineering, HVAC, building services or specialist engineered equipment.
• Proficient with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Inventor.
• Experience producing engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics or ventilation systems.
• Excellent project planning, organisational and problem–solving skills.
• Confident working with customers, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
