Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Are you an experienced Building Services design engineer with a passion for your job? A very attractive opportunity has become available for a growing M&E contractor.

Anderselite have worked with this client since the early stages of their growth, this is a pivotal role for the next phase of their expansion plans. The opportunity is a real chance to make the technical department your own.

Responsibilities

1. Interpret project requirements from drawings and brief.
2. Liaise with Project Managers, clients, sub–contractors to ensure smooth design and install process.
3. Attend design team meetings and project meetings.
4. Monitor design progress in accordance with the programme/deadline.
5. Produce design calculations, analysis manually and with the aid of software packages.
6. Produce design sketches.
7. Adopt a flexible attitude to projects and design.

Requirements

1. Ideally 3 years experience in Building Services Design.
2. Successful experience of technical management and development of commercial projects (offices, housing projects, schools, hospitals etc).
3. Experience of using AutoCad and desirably 3D modelling software.
4. A broad knowledge of mechanical design and desirably experience on the tools.
5. A creative way of working.
6. Desire to work, learn and share ideas with some of the best consultants in the Country.
7. Educated to HND/HNC level as a minimum.
