Contract Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Central London

Immediate Start

Outside IR35

£45-48 p/h Ltd

I am currently working with a client of mine who is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a 6-month contract. You'll be working on a variety of commercial, residential, and retail projects, helping to create practical, energy-efficient electrical designs. You'll collaborate closely with clients, architects, and contractors, seeing projects through from design to installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design mechanical systems for commercial, residential, and retail projects.
  2. Produce detailed design drawings and specifications.
  3. Collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure smooth integration.
  4. Conduct site surveys and ensure designs meet regulations.
  5. Support projects throughout their lifecycle, from design to commissioning.

Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Experience designing mechanical systems for commercial, residential, or retail projects.
  3. Proficient in mechanical design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
  4. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

You will be paid an hourly rate of c£45-48 p/h in an Outside IR35 capacity.
