Are you a senior mechanical design engineer looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Blueprint Recruitment would like to talk to you regarding an unmissable opportunity with one of our global leading clients. The successful candidate will be a permanent member of the team, working in a hybrid role with up to three days a week in their office, either London, Warwick, or Salford.

Our client is a global leader in the engineering sector, offering sustainable solutions, focusing on a variety of sectors including aviation, defence, nuclear, power, public, rail, life sciences, industry, and highways.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead mechanical design projects from concept to completion.
  2. Collaborate with electrical, structural, and software teams.
  3. Carry out mechanical design calculations and analysis.
  4. Create technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
  5. Ensure designs are manufacturable, safe, and reliable.
  6. Manage project timelines and budgets.
  7. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).
  2. Extensive experience in mechanical design engineering.
  3. Proven ability to lead projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  4. Expertise in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) and engineering analysis tools.
  5. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to mechanical design.
  6. Experience within pharmaceutical sector or transferable project experience (healthcare, labs, and clean rooms).
