Senior mechanical design engineer for fast paced, exciting design and build contractor with a strong emphasis on sustainable design solutions.

A company that can boast over 15 chartered design engineers and a training programme committed to ensuring that engineers develop to their full potential.

Our client employs over 60 engineers in their design department. They complete detailed mechanical and electrical design solutions on technically challenging projects.

Often employed direct by end users such as Universities or Hospitals our client is trusted with state of the art design of energy centres, plant rooms and associated building services.

These projects are typically very large and as such they require complicated designs including wide ranging mechanical and electrical services, BMS control systems, district heating and HV.

They are heavily involved with de-carbonisation schemes throughout the UK whereby old building services are being stripped out and replaced with modern building services offering sustainable energy solutions.

The role will encompass mechanical detailed design, site surveys, report writing, technical analysis, calculations, feasibility studies and conceptual reviews.
