Job Description:

Elevation Recruitment Group is currently working with a specialist in special purpose machinery engineering who is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.

The company designs, manufactures, and installs bespoke machinery. This role involves designing and developing product ranges and delivering on specific projects.

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for:

1. Producing designs of special purpose machinery
2. Delivering designs from concept to detailed drawings for manufacture
3. Liaising with the wider engineering team and production
4. Undertaking surveys with a high level of accuracy
5. Producing 3D CAD drawings

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will need:

1. Experience of designing machinery
2. Experience of working in a manufacturing technical engineering environment
3. Experience of communicating with customers
4. A sound knowledge of mechanical principles and calculations
5. Proficiency in 3D CAD software
