Job Description:

MoneyGram Haas F1 Team is celebrating its tenth season in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship in 2025. We are the first American Formula 1 team since 1986, and we continue to grow and succeed, with our recent best season to date.

We are a racing team with headquarters in Kannapolis, US; Banbury, UK; and Maranello, Italy. We value teamwork, passion, and contribution from all members.

Position Overview: This role reports to the Design Team Leader and is based in Maranello, Italy. Responsible for designing F1 chassis components and mechanical assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote teamwork and effective communication across departments.
• Design of chassis components and mechanical assemblies using solid and surface modelling, and 2D drawings.
• Design components including suspensions, wheels, hydraulic, fuel, cooling systems, and equipment for homologation and track-side management.
• Manage design mock-up activities.
• Ensure safety regulations compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• GCSE or high school diploma required; Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 in motorsports or F1.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong communication skills in English.
• Technical expertise in racing car design.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
• Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist others.

Tools and Applications:

• Proficiency in CATIA preferred, along with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of composites.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Ability to work in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment, with occasional travel. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual tasks. The environment includes machinery, race cars, and hazardous fluids. Compliance with health and safety policies is mandatory.
