Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job description

This business has been established for over 100 years and has multiple offices across the UK. With new projects coming in, they require a further experienced Contract Mechanical Design Engineer to join their South Liverpool team.

Their offices are close to public transport links and have free on–site parking when you are in the office with the other engineers. With a hybrid working model alongside flexible working where required, you are joining a business with an excellent reputation and a strong record of engineering projects across all sectors.

As a multi–disciplinary business, their MEP team has become experts within their field and have an interesting mix of projects across industrial, aviation, defence, commercial, residential, healthcare, education, leisure, heritage, and retail sectors.

You will be joining an experienced team of staff and contract engineers alike, where you are supported by a good management team. Due to the pending workload and projects, it's likely to be a long–term contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

1. Join the experienced team of staff and contract engineers.
2. Work on a variety of projects across multiple sectors.
3. Support the management team in delivering engineering solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer.
2. Multi-sector experience preferred, excluding heavy industry, nuclear, or oil and gas.
