Job description

We now have a 6-month contract opportunity (outside IR35) available for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to be based ideally in York, however, there is opportunities to be based in various areas of the country due to multiple office locations. Working arrangements will be flexible but hybrid would be preferred.

The purpose of the role is to produce designs MEP designs on an overseas project as well as various UK projects.

Principal responsibilities:

• Ensure designs are completed to meet the CRE requirements and within the agreed timescales. .
• Identify changes to the projects client requirements and raise the changes with the CRE.

Key skills/experience required:

• Previous experience of mechanical services design within the built environment or transport infrastructure including HVAC, Public Health, Building Physics and BIM
• Knowledge of multi-disciplinary issues associated with M&E and building services
• A good understanding of construction principles and standards
